    20 young Palestinian women have improved their prospects of a prosperous future thanks to the skills they learned with a Polish Aid project.

    A Polish Aid project trained recent female graduates as tour guides and provided them with practical experience in running their own projects and working with children. The training they received will enable them to work freelance, start their own enterprise or gain employment with an established organization.

     

    The group of 20 gained practical experience in the field to help prepare for the National Tour Guide exam. Additionally they learned important skills such as funding application and implementing their own projects, working with children as part of after school activities.

     

     

    An important element of Poland’s development programme is assisting vulnerable groups and young people to find gainful employment or start their own enterprise by providing specific training. We wish the trainees every success and look forward to hearing from them soon.
